I was replacing some ram there were 2 pc800 45 64gb in the memory slots and 2 crimms.
I pulled the 2 64gb and put 2 pc800 40ns 128gb, thats what the manual said to install. When I tryed to turn the pc back on it would power on fan ran cd drive ran but black screen and beeps. I also then tried to change the hard drive but that didnt help. Would apprieciate any help sooo flustrated. The system is a pcv370ds sony viao. all I wanted to do was upgrade the memory and hard drive.

how many beeps. You might want to look up a list of beep codes for your vaio. 3 beeps is usually bad memory. (of course, it could be different for your computer.)
