Hello,

The auto update has 89 outstanding security and other updates that are not being installed. When I try to click on the install shield in the task bar, the update launcher starts, then it says all updates failed to install. This presents a serious security problem.

I tried installing Update Manager 3.1 from microsoft.com, but it did not fix the issue. Every time I start the computer, I am prompted to install updates only to have them all fail.

Could someone direct me to some file that I may be missing or any other means of installing these important updates?
