Hello people, can anyone help me? Recently my PC has been crashing when I have been playing games, online and offline. Half way through the game the pc will either just freeze up or reboot itself. Is there anything I can do?
Any help would be much appreciated.

With so little info, its hard to help, however it sounds like it could be overheating. Check to be sure the vent holes are not covered by anything, and aren't clogged with dust. Open the case, if you find lots of dust in there, get it out of there (carefully).

Check to be sure all fans are running, (including the one on your video card if it has a fan).

There are lots of other things that can cause lockups, including Virii, your system being overloaded with spyware/adware/malware, old drivers, I could go on.

Good luck, hope you get it sorted out. :)

hello again.....i think its a virus. when i open task manager WToolsA.exe and WSup.exe is running. But I've never seen these before. I regularly clean adware and spyware and the fans all work quite well. So this leads me to the virus. Can you help?

Download Ad-Aware from here:

And Spybot - Search and Destroy from here:
http://www.download.com/3120-20-0.html?qt=spybot&tg=dl-2001

If you're using WinXP, create a restore point before proceeding. Run both of these programs and allow them to fix whatever they find.

Then download and run hijack this from one of these links:

Don't fix anything in hijackthis yet! Save a log and then post it in the Security Forum along with details about the problems you're having. A tech will review your log and advise you of any additional steps you need to take.
