We just set up a new domain and added all our users to AD. When testing out my user while logging on to the new domain, I was not able to open up My Computer. I did manage to open up Outlook and configure my new account but then the computer froze and I had to do a hard reboot to unfreeze the computer. If I log on to the domain with the admin account, I have full rights to everything on my desktop, if I log on as a domain user, I can't access any programs by clicking on their icons. Is there a policy for controlling the desktop icons?
