After installing xp service pack 2 I tried to install a 16 bit program I assume that needs to run in dos mode. The program will only come up to a window that is blank with program name in the box at the top. I get an error that says a user is already logged in under that name even after rebooting. The page will not display and then I get an error that says ntvdm.exe error. Microsoft says it has problems with this because of some critical update but I can not get the fix from them because my computer has an oem id number. My other computers that it was running on and were updated works fine but this one did not have the program previous to the updated service pack 2.
