Does anyone know how to delete the automatic links to previous search requests on IE 6 search bar. Whenever I create a new search, the search bar will automatically bring up previous searches (alphabetically) i.e. if I type in the word automotive, as the first letter A is typed, the search bar will bring up all previous searches commencing with the letter a, such as abbey models. If someone knows how I can delete these previous search titles and prevent Internet Explorer from recording new titles, I would be very grateful for the help.

Open IE, goto Tools Menu -> Internet Options.
check below for a box which shows Days to keep pages in history (its set to 20) change it to 1, and click on clear history button.

if it is like the google tool bar you can manually delete entries by pressing down to select the word then hitting the "delete" button.
