I am using Windows XP Pro, 1Gb RaM, intell dual core 250Gb hard disc (Sata)
I recently purchased this Seagate second hand and have a lot of problems with it.
It behaves quite unexpectedly. Most of the time its drive (D) is not shown on "MY COMPUTER"
When I manage to get it I can read files I have put in, (about 89Gb) but soon after I got the following message " Windows delayed write failed...etc." apparently it means this external disc has been formatted with Vista and does not work with NFTS of XP . How do I change to FAT32 (if it is the problem)? Or Will updating to Vista solve the problem?
