I'm running Windows XP Pro with (embarrassingly) only 500 mh pent. 3, 512 mb pc133 mem, Radeon 7000, and about 80 or 90 gigs of free space. I've been using WMP classic. Perhaps I've got the wrong codecs installed. Is it possible to have too many codecs installed?
