Hi I have a linux tarball (.tar.gz)

The software I have has only this format. It does not have any .exe distribution. Is there any way I can install this .tar.gz file on my xp system.

Thanks in advance..

I don't think so.
You could install a dual boot Linux distro, but I think that's the only way.
What's the program?

Never done this myself in windows but you can use PowerArchiver from www.gzip.org

What's the program?

The program I'm trying to install is:

take211

I know that you can treat such as file as a compressed archive file in windows and attempt to unzip or unrar it. However, once the files are "unzipped" I don't think that there's anything that you can do with them.
