Hi there! I sincerly hope you can help me!
The problem started yesterday! When I boot my computer, the task bar and the icons appears and then disappears. I opened the task manager and noticed that explorer.exe keeps shutting down and reloading, and I had to terminate the process and call firefox.exe by Os in order to be able to write this.

I can everything else with the execute command.
I tried everything such as Spybot Search and Destroy, many scans of AVG, Nod 32, Northon, etc... and as I am writing, Vundo Fix is running.

Thought, I renamed hijackthis.exe to anything.exe and moved the prog to a folder (so it won't be in the desk).

Here is my log :

Hope you will be able to help me! Thanks for your time!

EDIT : Vundofix Seems to definitely be the solution to this pb!
I still leave my hijackthis logfile so if a skilled log reader can tell me if there is still something, i can fix it now so the problem won't come back!

Thanks in advance!

Which Operating System are you using?

The Explorer.exe is a core part of your
system files and as you have said it seems
that this file is having problem, either it
is corrupt or the computer is not able to understand this file.

If you have WinXP or WinServer 2003 than you can use the WinXP or WinServer 2003 bootable CD to repair the windows.

That will hopefully solve your problem.

It would be nice to see the Vundofix log... there is a malware startup entry in that HT log..

I am keen to see what Vundofix made of it. And we can proceed from there, if needs be.

I'm Using Microsoft XP Pro!

Thx for your help!

Nice job! If I may assume that the Vundofix log shows that it deleted ALL files that it found, including these?:
Vundofix log :
C:\Windows\system32\dKQWxyxx.ini
C:\Windows\system32\dKQWxyxx.ini2
C:\Windows\system32\xxyxWQKd.dll

If that is the case then use Hijackthis to fix these orphaned entries, and you should be clean to go.
