hi,

about a day ago i wiped my computer. its a windows xp, the inter net i use is broadban ethernet cable from comcast but after ive reinstalled the drivers from my dell drivers disk under device manager it still says that the ethernet, and multmedia drivers are missing ive tried going to dell to find the drivers and nothing has worked so far if anyone can help me please do so.

If you have a separate LAN card (the card your ethernet cable [lugs into) tou need to find the drivers on another PC, download them and install on your machine. If the LAN is "Onboard" that is part of the mainboard, the driver will be on the instalation disk. Try reinstalling or sxplore disk and see what you can find.

if that dosent work ill look again on the driver disk...

Look inside your PC and see where the cable plugs in. Is it in the motherboard? Ot a separate card?
