I formatted my HP DV6000 laptop that comes with vista and installed Windows XP on it, i downloaded ethe driver for the Dv6000 laptop but it doesnt work at all on it, anybody with a good idea on this should please help me out, my sound my Display won't work i have installed it the way i'm suppose to but its still the same

if you have downloaded and install all the latest drivers for your correct model number it should work fine...

That is what baffles me most, ihave switched back to vista but the display driver is the problem now, each time i installed it it keeps giving me error message.

Thanks for the reply, i have solved the problem with the driver, i did a systeminfo on command prompt and i found out that my system model is HP Pavilion DV6700 not HP Pavilion DV6000 writing on the top edge.
