Hey, long story short...I'm wondering if there's a way to use Putty to connect to a S/390 (or OS/390?) machine.

I'm at work, and right now we use an IBM program (some people call it Aptis, we call it Personal Communications).

I've tried connecting to it using all the default settings for raw, telnet & ssh. I haven't tried serial because I know I'm connected to it through any serial cable (it's somewhere in this weird network, lol).

If you're wondering why I don't want to use the software my work gives me...it's simply because I've grown tired of it, and I prefer to use putty.

I've also tried using Google...but, I couldn't really find any answers (closest I've found is IBM's manual on OS/390).

I'm really not sure what else to say as to what would be relevant...so, if you need any more information, feel free to ask.
