so after much trouble downloading the sims 2 i got the sims 2 university and i've tryied every and have been looking for hours online trying to figure out why it wont let me install i took it out and cleaned it really well but for some reason it always stops at 59% and says that "a problem occurred when trying to transfer the file Tsdata\Res\Sound\Voice3.package from the media would you like to retry" and when i click yes it does the same thing. pleaseeee help

Can you copy the disk to a folder on your hard drive? Try installing it from there.

Try it from the hard drive. have had this issue with a lot of EA games. Seems to be the copy protection.
