hi, can any one help, over the last 2 weeks when i start up my pc then click on the the internet the home page seems to time out and i get the page saying cannot find page , but soon as i refresh or press home it goes straight to my home page, can any one help

not sure what you men but i use a modem and iam with tiscali

what browser are you using ,i had similar problem with a version of firefox browser , it was a update problem that seemed to fix itself in the last update!

Only time ive had it on IE was on a corpotrate network, which used a proxy. Seems the thread to configure the proxy didnt complete before the homepage was requested.

Maybe it just hates dialup

hi, i use ie and firefox and it does it on both, it only started about 3 weeks ago

try open up ie go to tools->internet options->click on the "connections" tab..check the settings or click setup to make a new connection...
