Windows XP is installed into C drive.
later i installed Windows Server 2003 in D drive.
While installing some S/W into Server 2003 it is corrupted. So
i tried to overwrite or upgrade the same Server 2003 on D drive.
But it is showing error as can't upgrade.

I can't format D drive coz it has 70 GB Other imp files.

So how to remove or uninstall Windows server 2003 on D drive completely so that i can reinstall without formatting D drive ?

i would say either install it to a diffrent file name instead of windows but that leaves you all copys / or get a live linux boot disk mandrivia / knoppix / unubutu theres more live cd's out there those are just a few then either copy / move / the files you need then dump the drive or just delete all the windows files and then go to reinstall it

How big is you hard drive?

Are you after dual booting XP and Server 03?

You could back up the file on drive 'D' format it and reinstall server on that. Or you could shrink the D partition and create a new partition and install it to there and remove the corrupt OS from the boot menu.

Required : Windows XP operating system, Windows XP cd
Place the xp cd in your cd/dvd drive
Press win key+r type in 'sfc /scannow' (without the ')

Now it should all load, and fix all your corrupted file on windows XP

It's a tough job, Lily, doing that advertising. Imagine having to trawl back to 2009 for threads. I bet you've found more recent ones, though.
