please i need ur help. i have a dell laptop with vista os. but i want to load server 2003 on it, so i can use it for practical purposes.
i have an installaation cd for the vista which i can always use back to load when am through.
please help on hw to load this as it is given me an error- unable to locate hard drive

Jump to PostThat is because your laptop has a SATA hard drive. Sata hard drives did not exist when server 2003 was made. Unless you can find a SATA driver that you can put on a floppy or cd, you will never get that to install.

Other option is to wait for Server 2008, which obviously won't have this issue, and of course x64 option
