I'm runing xp home on a pIII 450mhz and like a month or so ago when the machine froze and i hit alt+ctrl+dlt i saw these files and friend said they were system files but I have never seen either before I would of deleted them but i was afraid i'd crash my system. thanks

Jump to Postno their not wowexec is windows on windows 16 bit module that will let XP or 2k ( or even 98 i belive) run 16bit programs. opware is a 16bit program and needs wow to run. now what opware is im not really sure

The programs opware16 and opware32 appear to have been dropped into the startup files by Caere's Omnipage software. I found them running on a 98 box here and identified them by examining the startup files using msconfig
