Every time I start up my computer I am prompted to enter my username and password. I am running windows 98 and the dialog box says it is for microsoft networking. How can I change this?

I haven't used Win98 in a very very long time so I'm not completely sure. But as far back as I can remember is to right click on Network Neighborhood and go to Properties. There will be a dialog box somewhere around there to login via client for microsoft networks or some other one. Switch it to the other one.
