On our kids computer XP 3g of ram is freezing maybe every 2 or 3 days we are running AVG anti virus and super anti spy ware any suggestions please.

Hi,
Every three days or so... it is a bit hard to narrow down a problem that only happens every now and then.
Download and run Ccleaner (back up registry first) then go to tools in Ccleaner and see if you want to remove any programs.
Press Ctrl,Alt and del (all at the same time) Task manager will open. Click on "processes" tab and see what programs are running. If you do not know what the program is, search the net for it so you can know if you want it to run. If you find programs running you don't want, uninstall them. if you find programs you want but don't need to have running, open that program and change the preference for loading at windows start or boot up.
If you are still having problems, post back with more information on what you are doing when it freezes.
