I have installed windows xp pro on a HP pavilion 4535 the program went on fine. The only thing I can't get going is the modem. Everytime I restart the computer it wants to load the PCI Simple communication controller. I have tried to find it on the HP disks and the windows disk but no luck. Any help would be more than welcome right now.

if your still under warrenty try contcting HP

Try this link out.. Its for the Windows 2000 driver for your modem, and I'm guessing it should work out fine.
