Hello,

I know how to clean install operating system. What I want to know is during installation of Dells Windows Vista operating system on Dell Inspiron 1525 laptop, will it ask for product id or the product key? The product id is in the windows activation section (my computer, right click properties). The other one is product key label, underneath on the external base. So do i use the product id or the product key, if it asks for one?
