I just got done upgrading my computer from me to xp and when i restarted the computer it booted up just fine untill after the windows logo it goes to a black screen with little white dots at the side of the screen. Can some one help me!!!! :sad:

Sounds like it failed to copy all files or the setup got cut off prematurely. try booting off the xp cd to rerun setup.
