hello, I'm having a problem with my cpu which involves the Realtek HD Audio manager.

when I logon to my account, I get no audio,
but when I logon to a differant account, it works perfectly...

anyone know how to fix off-hand :/

I'm looking into this myself, but I'm not sure where to start...
I'm thinking to check my .../Local Settings/Application data/,
or something within the user directory...

would that be right, or would it be something in the WINDOWS directory??
Im not sure what I'm looking for... please help :/

Have you tried to remove the current drivers of your audio card and download the latest version?

O_o...
no...

that shouldn't matter though...

I mean...
it works fine on another account...
just not mine :/

maybe on your account the sound is on mute!, i had an aproximative problem, because my sound stopped instantly sometimes, but that was because of a virus, i don t think is your case here

I found alot out...
but I'm not entirely sure...

I believe it's my account, and it could be a virus...
I've figured out how to get sound though :/

every time I shut down my computer (not sleep or hib) it's like flipping a switch on the audio...
it's on every 1st and 3rd time, but off every 2nd and 4th time o.O

if that ain't odd...
and I caan't seem to fin'd what's causing it <:/
