I want to index a shared / network drive. I downloaded a program NeoSearch. I was hoping that it would find a find that is located on a shared / network drive, it found one file, but any other files I tried to look for, it didn't. I've read a few Microsoft Tech supports on the subject, most of the answers lead to the same, make a drive offline, there is no option to make a drive offline in my circumstance, I can't include the drive as a network library, Windows7 doesn't permit this, arggh.
I can't do a wild card for a specific extension in Neosearch is there any way to index shared or networked drives without depending on other software ?
