Hi! This is my first posting here. Too bad it had to be a negative tone to it:

I WANT TO KILL MY LAPTOP!!!

Sorry...

Now that I got it out... Here's the problem in detail. And this had to happen right before I was going to back everything up for the first time in a month. And the day I REALLY needed to be on THAT computer. (I'm on the desktop right now.)

OK, it's a Compaq Presario 2100 with Win XP Home edition. On a network with the desktop but turned off at the moment. I turned it on this morning and after a couple of minutes, I get a dialog box.

The title reads:

HPWirelessMgr.exe - Application Error

The inside of the box reads:

The instruction at "0x76b2398c" referenced memory at "0x00000000". The memory could not be "read".

Click on OK to tertinate the program.
Click on CANCEL to debug the program.

Then of course it has the OK and CANCEL options underneath...

That's it. Needless to say, I tried both options and nothing. It just sits there taunting me... Grrrr...

PLEASE HEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEELP!!!

Thank you VERY MUCH in advance if anyone knows this problem.
Sincerely,

Sophie.

this is a problem with your Hp wirless software so uninstall the software and try installing the same or simply boot to safe mode and try system restore..Easy fix
