I am seeing a message "error loading OS" on booting up,then PC stalls.Then I insert windows XP cd to boot up .
Can anybody help me through the steps to resolve this error so as i do not need to use a CD.

Jump to Postthis message appears because you try to boot up from the cd, go to your bios and in advanced settings change first boot devise from cd to hd, and would be ok!
