I have been having problems with my mouse cuting out and spining at the sky while playing games and cuting out while on desk top and last week it stoped working and wont work at all now ? I have tryed cleaning the mouse pluging in a difrent one and using a serail mouse attachment adapter and rebooting to no avail. My keybord still works and i have had no errors and everything looks fine in device manager.

Can some one tell me whats going on and has anyone elce had this problem and how can it be resolved? As of now my pointer is in the middle of my screen and it is quite hard for me to just use my keybord

Well if you've tried a different mouse and that doesn't work, it could be a pesky virus that is causing your pointer to wander.

Try scanning for viruses.

hehe ahh the days when me and my friends would use those viruses on each other..

Anyways, if its not a virus after scanning, try reinstalling drivers.
