I need help, lol. I have the 64 bit, and having serious issues with it. I got a new barebone kit, it came with the 64 bit in it, well I tried to load windows 2000, it doesn't work. I found out that you can only use windows xp pro 64 bit, I can not find it anywhere in stores if I have to buy the program. This is what I have:Intel Pentium D 840 3.2 gGHz DT 800FSB Socket 775. Once we install windows, you go to boot up the computer, and it gets to a certain point and stops. It's like it is thinking on what it is suppose to do next. Can someone help me, is it the program, drivers, etc??? All I want it the computer up and running. Thanks

How much ram do you have in the omputer? More than 4 gigs would be a reason why you have to go with Windows XP x64 edition instead of Windows 2000.
