I have a relatively new IBM desktop with a clean install of XPP last week. Antivirus is up to date.
All of a sudden without warning multiple instances (84 this morning) of task manager open on their own.
I am scanning for a virus at the moment and 5 instances of the AV program (bitdefender) open on their own after I opened the program (I am writing from my notebook).
I haven't added anything (soft or hard) to the machine but something has changed.
