svchost.exe keeps crashing on my Compaq Presario. In hopes of fixing my blue screen errors, I just recently installed a brand new hard drive and reinstalled XP fresh from my recovery CD set. Then I installed XP SP2 and my other programs and transfered some of my files from the old hard drive to the new.

I use Panda Titanium 2006 with Antivirus, Antispyware, and firewall to protect my computer.

Here is the latest error in event viewer:

Event ID: 1000
Faulting application svchost.exe, version 5.1.2600.2180, faulting module unknown, version 0.0.0.0, fault address 0x019126a8.

I would download and install the latest updates from Microsoft, but my browsers don't want to keep running.

What is causing this problem? How can I fix it?

Now I got another blue screen error:

IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL

Stop: 0x0000000A (0x00000213, 0x00000002, 0x00000001, 0x80505142)

Hope this helps you diagnose the problem. I scanned my whole computer and it should be clean now.
