6.484 in IE7 (default settings) on XP SP2 with no other tabs open . Machine specs were 1gb of ram and a P4 3ghz

What browser were you using?

Also that testb is a bit crappy. Its PHP so if the server was under load, it would affect the time

Im using MyIE2 (IE Engine)

I think the test is based on RAM,as i saved it locally and tried to load it with the same results...

16.907 on iceape for ubuntu linux, 1Gb ram, wireless pci. stock, no tweaks

So, what exactly are we measuring? Here's a couple numbers I kinda like:

Last Result:
Download Speed: 17897 kbps (2237.1 KB/sec transfer rate)
Upload Speed: 552 kbps (69 KB/sec transfer rate)

I'm surprised with my result.

This is on my Work laptop, Dell D610 1.8GHZ single Core, 512MB RAM. Goes through a proxy.
Browser: Opera Indentifying as IE to get through the proxy.
(IE is 4.0)
