I want to make an image of the hard drive so that if something goes wrong I can just put in the disc and restore it to like new. What do you recommend? Or is there such a thing?

I would use Acronis True Image 10( www.acronis.com ). Acronis 11 Hasnt proved itself just yet.

I have been using Acronis True Image and an external hard drive. It will be hard to beat.
