When trying to open Outlook I get the message "Unable to open default e-mail folders. The MS Exchange Server computer is not available. Either there are network problems or the MS Exchange Server computer is down for maintanence." The Exchange computer is showing up in the Entire Network and all users can ping it by both IP address and hostname. I am running Windows XP Pro SP2, Outlook 2003 SP2, and Exchange 5.5 Thank you for any help.

5,5? sorry, don't remember much about it. but I think it was only a mail server, no folders. so the way to use it would be by pop3/smtp or imap.

I might be wrong though
