Problem with Rundll32.exe

Hi,

For the past couple of days I have been experiencing a very annoying problem and I hope you can help. I have Windowns XP and what happens is the internet page freezes that I was using but I can still activate the start button and log off. When I log off I get an error message saying End Program Rundll32.exe with the option to end now or wait for it to end itself. I normally end now but if I wait it says This program is not responding.

I am very confused :confused: because everything was going well so what could have happened?

I believe I have solved the problem by following advice from Symantec. Thanks anyway this looks like a great forum with a lot of helpful advice and I am sure I will be back.

Andrea i wouldn't adive running to antivirus (you've got McAfee and Norton). they'll clash.
