Hello everybody,

I bought ADSL Wireless Router. The problem I found out is that there are four Ethernet exits and only one slot which is to be connected with a telephone cable.

I tried to plug in the internet cable in one of the ethernet slots and then plug another cable to my laptop and it is working fine as a normal connector.

The problem that I face now is that I want to make it wireless.

When I switch on the wireless on my laptop it appears that it is finding the router but it gives "limited or no connectivity" message at the bottom.

I tried the software but it is not letting me go through the installation process unless I have plugged in the telephone ADLS cable.

Any idea what I can possibly to? Should I seek for another software?

What make and model?
This appears to be a Modem/Router combination.
In most cases, you'll need to access the Router's Web Interface to set up your wireless config.

As I told before the sotware I have with it requires me to have the ADSL cable plugged in in order to continue with the installation.

Ok. I got the manual.

It is not possible to decetc the modem Automatically, so
when I go manual I do not know what to enter in the following fields:

Encapsulation:

VPI:

VCI:

When I enter the address in the bar of the browser this appears:

Connection Interrupted

The connection to the server was reset while the page was loading.

The network link was interrupted while negotiating a connection.
Please try again.

When I go to Select from a list:

it is asking me for ISP, and then username and password and after
that it gives me Performing modem and error page after a couple of minutes.
