HELP! How the hell do I set up my linksys MDL#NR041 router so I can utilize remote desktop? (access home from work) I went to the router admin page and it all appears to be in default settings. Not sure where and what to change. I enabled WAN and changed the default port from 8080 to 3389????? :?:

Hello,
You need to tell your router's configuration that anything coming in on the WAN port for TCP 3389 needs to be sent to the IP number of your XP box @ port 3389.
For example, 24.123.132.13:3389 needs to be sent to 192.168.0.10:3389
Also, if your XP box is running Windows Firewall, it needs to be made aware of this connection attempt.
