need some help with a wireless home network. i am running a desktop with windows 7 home that is connected to dsl and a belkin wireless router. also a canon printer. i also have a company laptop that is running windows xp pro. i can access the internet on the laptop via the router (just using it as an access point) but i would like to be able to print to the printer that is connected to my desktop wirelessly. however, when i look up the printer on the laptop, it does not show up. i don't print often from the laptop, but when i need to, it would be handy to not have to unplug the printer from one computer and plug it into the other.

If it isn't a network printer, you have to share it on the network, from the pc that it is connected to, and keep that pc running while you have to print.
