Okay so here is the problem. I redcently reformated my hard drives. I have reinstalled all drivers. I have a cable modem that is working, a Router that says it is working. A computer that can connect to the router but can't see the internet. The status says connected and is like 23,000 sent 150 recieved as te 23,000 continues to grow and the 150 stays the same. I have tried both hardwire and wireless connections and both give the same problem. I am using them one at a time. I am running Windows XP have a netgear router. Charter is my ISP. The internet worked fine before the format. Any suggestions on what to do or how to get it to work would be greatly appreciated.

Are the other computers connected to the router able to access the internet? Have you tried removing the router and plugging the network cable directly from computer to the modem? Does the device manager show any errors with your network card? I would also check for any driver update for you NIC card.
