I see by the previous threads this is a common problem, ie I set up two new computers for my sister last year. SBC yahoo modem with a Dlink wireless router. The setup worked fine for about 4 months then one day BAM(emeril has left the building) the thing stopped working. Hardware all in fine working order. She contacted the help desk(better known as help-less) and after and hour or so of conversation their fix was to disconnect the router and just go with her computer hardwired. Well that works fine but the rest of the family would like to be online as well. Tested the router and the lan is fine, I can see all computers etc. We know the modem functions well too. But when you hook them up no internet. HELP any suggestions as to how to fix this.
Would be greatly appreciated.
