what type of wireless access does it have? my sister gave me it to setup so she could use the printer sharing here. i know its either 802.11b or 802.11g i'm not sure though. but it shouldn't matter though if i get a 802.11g right?

The Presario 1000 came with either b or G as an option. And no, it shouldn't matter if you get the G series router.
