It's a T500. The BIOS version is 6FET93WW (3.23 ).

What do you need me to do to get this thing done?

I don't see anything like VT-x in my BIOS setup. (BIOS of the host, right?)

I have the latest version of Ubuntu installed now. I also installed VirtualBox and now I have one problem. I get an error message:

The hardware virtualization is enabled in the Acceleration section of the System although it is not supported by the host system. It should be disabled in order to start the virtual system.

When I go to the Acceleration tab and disable Hardware Virtualization the message remains there and I can't click OK.

That's right. I couldn't find Speccy for LInux. I'm downloading the latest version of Ubuntu right now. But then I have another problem: I can't get ISO files burned to DVD. I've tried a couple of applications to do this, but untill now, no one get it done.

I'm trying to run VirtualBox in Ubuntu. I just created a machine but when I run it I get this error message:

Hello. I'm trying to build a website which should accept uploaded files. My question is: how do you retrieve the filetype of uploaded files?

I feel like a big noob right now... I'm just trying all different WAMP-programs and I haven't succeeded yet. Is there a WAMP-program that you would advise?

I'm writing a game in PHP. Now the script generates a random number to get the players registered. But: the number generated is the same for every player. It's about this line:

Every player gets the same key. How can this be? Any help? Thanks you

My name is Leon de Groot. I'm from the Netherlands (the best country in the world to live in). I started "programing" when I was 10. That's 14 years earlier. I have a cousin who tought me GW-BASIC. Later I started (trying) C++, as suggested by a guy from the village I lived in those days. At school I started programming PHP, as was taught. Untill that moment I really wrote a decent program. Of course, you want to make something complete. But I exaggerated and started writing a big game in PHP. I never finished it. I put the game on this forum, by the way.

Now, years later, I just started writing a Yahtzee app. That's gonna be my first finished up program. I also put this script online, because I got stuck. I sure hope that I'll be able to move on with it, with or without help.
