Did you download anything before you shut-down your computer? You may have downloaded a mac virus (sounds impossible). They can be made! You just take automator and tell it to delete everything except the apps. Hope you solve It!

I lost the master password for my mac. However, I still have the admin passwords. Any way I can recover it? There is a keychain, (filevaultmaster), but I can't access it. I tried all known passwords (except the master password because I lost it) but got nothing. I opened the …

I installed a new theme via shapeshifter, but it didn't affect Safari. How do I make safari use the system's theme that I installed instead of it's own?

Try holding down the power button on your G5. If that doesn't work, check that the button actually is connected to the computer. Yes- that means you will have to open up your computer, but it is a risk you might have to take.

Is there any good free plug-ins that check the grammer along with the spelling in the text you select? Do you have to go in Word every time you want to check the grammar?

That's windows for you. Getting a mac would solve most all the problems you have in windows. Even my G4 outperforms any PC I have laid hands on. Getamac!

Yes. If you want to run it, you need to get a mac. Don't be doing illegal things. Apple inc. is not afraid to sue someone for violating their rules. However, you can run windows on a mac. And I think Linux as well. I don't know.

Try using Disk Inventory X. Download it from here: http://www.derlien.com/ . It shows a map of your hard-drive with colors for kinds of files. Check it out. You probably have some 1GB movies out there. Compress them with iMovie

For reasons unknown to me, I cannot read special e-mail message. This means like HTML messages, and those from Apple. How would I go about re-enabling that? I have searched in help, and prefs, but didn't find anything. Thanks!

Get a mac! You will be glad you switched especially with the leopard OS coming out. The way Microsoft gets their ideas is by copying Apple. Go to www.apple.com and do some looking around in Mac OS X. You will get all the details about the greatness of Macintosh

Maybe it can't find what you are refering to as "Document 1". Instead of using just "Document 1", try using the actual name of your document. Be sure to put it in quotes. I am just guessing at what your problem might be, but I do have some applescript experience.

Go to the force quit menu. If you see the finder running, relaunch it again. If that doesn't work, do what they said. If that still doesn't work, re-install 10.3 using the install disk or whatever you used. Might want to back up your data too. Or you could make …

Get a mac. They are really secure (especially with filevault activated) (Filevault is sooooooo secure! Not even the gov. can bypass it without the user name and password.) Get a mac! Here's why: http://www.apple.com/getamac/ads/
