Our government, our society, and our values whatever they are are instilled in us. We are all here co-existing and serving a purpose for us or for others or both. I must admit that Daniweb is pieced together with many intelligent, level headed people from all over the world and it is this energy that will keep propelling Daniweb further. Which is why I am still here. Daniweb is a sort of government with a Queen, Moderators, and Team Colleauges and this thread has brought out the best in us to bring our viewpoints to the table and allow us to exchange and keep exchanging. So if you ask me "Must government be the center of our existence?"? I say yes. My proof is this thread.

I believe secret societies have always existed and will continue to exist. These niches provide for those in the "inner circle" to really relax and be without the fear of general public speculation IMO.
Prove it. There has never been a time in human history where there was no government wherever more than 2 people live together. You can even consider the basic family as a government of sorts -- mom & dad are the dictators and the children are the governed.

With today's gas prices soaring, going green to include recycled clothing would be a great alternative for folks that just want to be comfortable in what they wear; affordable to the manufacturer and the customer and good (meaning not harmful) to the environment.
Yep and anything out of ordinary would raise a few eyebrows and questions as you just experienced yourself. By the way how much did the shipment cost you as what i have heard is Cisco stuff is darn expensive.

You can get a good deal by talking to tech schools or small companies that are expanding and are looking to get rid of their old stuff.
i recently recieved my shipment of cisco routers and switches so that I can get hand-on training in preparation for my CCNA exam. Well, my co-workers are your average computer users and the look on their faces was like they had just sceen a ghost. The reaction was mixed between "wow" and "what are you doing with that?". At one point one of them thought that I would try and do some hacking. Anyway, my point is just that most average users are familiar with the equipmnt that is used that allows them to read their email, surf the internet or simply just use skype.

Plugging in a new workstation into an existing WAN enviroment poses some problems (i.e scalability) hopefully this is not the problem, otherwise you will have to get additional equipment. Try accessing your router's CLI and type Show users. You should see your workstation and if you dont see it you will have to configure it into your network.
Can anybody help me out? Try checking to see if your NIC has a snug fit. Check the port for any damage. Also look for drivers and if they need to be updated or if they are working correctly. Make sure you have the proper wiring. You may have twisted pair and need straight or you have straight and need twisted. If no physical hardware problems and drivers are good-to-go and still no connection, refer below.
Bring up your cmd window and type ipconfig/all
If nothing try ipconfig/renew then type ipconfig/all
Note: you should have your wiring to your router when issuing these commands.
Sounds like your getting end-to-end communications which a good sign, but are not able to manage multiple connections.
This should be an easy fix if you have a non-propriatary network.
First go into your Network Connections then Right Click on the device icon that access the internet you will notice that you have a menu window that pops up. Now look for the properties and click it. Doing this will bring up a window the "Local Area Connection Properties" window. In this window you should notice a QoS Packet Scheduler that should have a check box to its left. If this check box is un-checked, go ahead and place a check box in it. Save your settings by clicking "ok" or "apply" which ever one is their. For good measure, go ahead and re-boot your machine. Once your logged back in attempt to access the internet multiple times.

192.xxx.x.x are reserved for private networks. I think you have to use Network Address Translation (NAT) to map your private ip addresses to the public ip addresses. Not sure how technology is on your ends but I think a vtc would be an easy solution. maybe this solution has been brought up in the past and dissmissed for the obvious reasons, but their certainly seems to be a mutual interest for a meeting. The sum of a collective is greater than ............
