well that's just dandy, I finally reset BIOS (if you're wondering, it was by changing the switch that said on) and now there is a freaking HDD password, what do I do?!?!?!

I have found the jumper or "dipswitch" whatever, what do I have to do there to reset the bios?

There are 4 switches, labelled 1, 2, 3 and 4 no. one says "ON" the others say KHS04

Lol, I did that first, my bad I should of had more faith in you guys. Yeah, I thought I will leave it out overnight, other than that I'll have to try resetting it via Jumper :cry:. I'll look up more. Thanks for your help catweazle.

The company has recently found one of their old notebooks that seems to have been lost for quite some time in one of our vehicles. This is all good and dandy, except nobody can remember the bios password for it. The model is an ACER Travelmate 514t and I cannot find any backdoor passwords for it at all. The only options I can think of is removing the CMOS battery or using the jumper or dipswitch settings. Except I have no idea where to start!!! I will try but a hurried reply would be great lol. Perhaps you have the privacy settings too high? Tools>internet options go to the privacy tab. Would pay to have a look at the security Tab while you're at it, just take a look at what it is blocking. Sorry for not being more specific.

This is what you want, except I would probably make the width a percentage like 90%, this way, no matter what resolution the user is running it is, the table will only ever take up 90% of the screen, and will remain in the centre. Like this:

When using VB .NET to create a web application, I can use dropdown list controls fine, when just creating a vb .NET windows app, they are nowhere in sight. What is the substitute for the dropdown menu?

Hey guys! I scored a heap of freebies from a PC User mag, it included a free full version of the latest realsoft 3d version as well as absolutely tonnes of PS plugins. I know have more plugins than I do default filters :-| ;) but it's awesome. I also scored a free copy of C4D the latest vers. with addons, and tutorials. Got any tips for me as a first time user of C4d? By the way that PC User mag was awesome! It is the first time I've ever bought it and it was only 7.95, same price as the atomic mag and it is so resourceful! I'm going to subscribe to them.

as opposed to having a second page for your child threads, did you consider holding them in panels and making the specific panel visible when a user asks for it? Or did you think of using sessions?

hey don't worry about it, I did it myself (I got lazy too), What I did was instead of worrying about that, I worried about the actual e-mail link in the datagrid even working. So I created another column in my database table called "Email" and manually entered the e-mails in according to ref. No. then for the e-mail column in the datagrid I used this code.

I think you may have to put up with this minor issue due to the way IE has been designed.

Ok guys, here is what the problem is.

I have a column "reference number", now I want to make a column for "email" and depending what value is in the ref. No cell, the email will change accordingly, here is an example.

If the reference number is "THVP" then I want the email cell on the same row to be zorba@hotmail.com and if the reference number is "SHVP" then I want the email cell on the same row to be slade@hotmail.com can anybody help me out here? Please?

Any help would be tremendously appreciated.
