Ahh, I hate to say it, but I strongly disagree with ya. ;) First off, I guess ya could say I'm "in the know" about malware, etc--it's my specialty. Time and time again, all these problems crop up, mostly all of them because of malware/viruses/etc, when truthfully, nearly all of …

Go with the splitting of companies, just like what happened to the Bell phone company back in the day.

Heh, I'm not much much of a net radio guy, so it's generally my big ole iTunes open. However, with that said, an awsome site for finding music is Pandora. Well, instead of describing it, I'll just let ya check it out.

Try CCleaner: Begin by downloading CCleaner, and specifically choosing the most recent version. Then, follow these steps: 1. Close all programs so that you are at your desktop. 2. Double-click on the "My Computer" icon. 3. Select the "Tools" menu and click "Folder Options". 4. After the new window appears …

Now I don't think you would need to buy a certain model, but that might just apply to desktops.... Sorry if that doesn't help ;)

Heh sorry for a late reply, but I personally would go with AVG as the resident, and Avast as the manual second. Thanks.

I think the best thing to assume right now is spyware. Post a new thread in the Virus forum along with a HJT log. Thanks.

Agreed. I'd reccomend Firefox for one. Also, it wouldn't hurt to start a thread in the Virus forum, along with a HJT log, to have it checked for spyware. Someone there will help ya. Thanks.

Rashakil Fol- can't agree with ya more. Although, at the same time, I will argue that Myspace doesn't always do enough to ensure privacy. (although, I must admit, privacy on a public site sounds pretty oxymoronic...;) ) Dude- Where in Chi do ya live?
