You need SATA drivers to install Windows properly or you must disable SATA from Bios and switch to IDE.

It's very possible to have a problem with your RAM module. If you could, open the case and remove the dust from inside.

Norton is a very high consuming resources antivirus. I uninstall this software in just about two days because i cannot work at my computer (freezes etc.) Just try Kaspersky or Bit Defender.

I think it's a problem with your RAM modules. Try to clean the dust, clean the contacts, switch the modules of memory etc.

You should have a windows XP with SATA drivers. Without these drivers it's impossible for installer to detect your hard drive ( i suppose it's a SATA drive).

Maybe you have Internet Time syncronised with Internet Time Server. If you have time zone setted to another zone, your clock will change to this different time zone after reboot.

It's difficult to change your OS and a change from XP to Windows is many times frustrating. You ca use initialy two operating systems. Anyway, if you choose an Linux OS I will recommend you Ubuntu or Fedora.

Yes. Dark Edition is a pirated edition of Windows XP modified by a turkish guy. Anyway, is not indicate to use pirated software in no circumstance. You can find almost any software if you know how to search.

After a power failure is very possible to have problems with your hard drive. You should try a system restore. If this thing doesn't work you can run check disk. If the problem persists you must reinstall your OS.

Your version of Windows is original? About one year ago i have similar problem with a Windows without license. Microsoft can detect if your windows is original and can block the update or can send you a "little" virus in exchange.
