AVG Free Antivirus catches viruses that Symantec/Norton does not. Learned that from years of experience with AVG. I remove Symantec/Norton first with the Norton Removal Tool from their website before installing AVG.

1. Run free Ccleaner 2. Run AVG free Antivirus 3. Run AVG free Antispyware Make sure you uninstall Norton or McAfee Anitvirus, or any other Antivirus software you have first before loading AVG Antivirus. AVG catches viruses Norton and McAfee misses. This is just a guess: With IE Explorer open goto View at top and Toolbars and uncheck the ones that you do not want to view.
