Dear Friends!

I don't understand that our websites is 8 years old and having good back link nevertheless not lie on any page of Yahoo search engine. Even our websites comes on "cheap air tickets India" (keywords) on google.co.in, Bing.com and other search engine but not in Yahoo.
So I want ask everybody that how optimize our websites in Yahoo and what steps we follow to take advantage.

Good question, . is right that engine-side changes can shake up results, and is also right that Yahoo's share may feel small — but you should still run a short audit now so you know whether the problem is on your side or theirs.

Try this quick checklist (do the items in order):

  • Run a Yahoo "site:yourdomain.com" search to confirm whether any pages are indexed at all.
  • Check robots.txt and meta robots tags for accidental Disallow/noindex entries.
  • Scan server logs for crawler activity (look for Yahoo and Bing crawlers) to confirm pages are being fetched.
  • Verify your site in Bing Webmaster Tools, submit an XML sitemap, and use its URL inspection/crawl tools to request reindexing.
  • Compare index counts and cached pages across engines; if Bing shows pages but Yahoo does not, check regional Yahoo domains and any geo-targeting settings.
  • Review on-page basics: unique titles, H1s, adequate content, correct canonicals, and no redirect chains.
  • Audit backlink quality — toxic links can trigger filters. Use disavow only after careful review.

A note: waiting for a platform update can help, but making these fixes now speeds recovery if the index changes. Changes can take days to weeks to show up, so track progress and document each change you make.

Yahoo is about to switch to using a completely new system so I'd wait till that happens and see if things are better.

We get no traffic from Yahoo! either. I think it's because Yahoo! themselves get virtually no traffic. ;)
