Its a long and time consuming process. You would have to determine the keywords, a good mix of short tail and long tail and write the website content using them. Your URL and title must have those keywords.

Once you are done with this, start building quality links to the page. You will slowly see your rank improving. It took me 2 years to bring my website on the top for nearly 50 keywords highly competitive keywords. For niche, you will not take much time.
